Upon review of my steps taken so far I notice that the above webpage (where I got SetupProd_OffScrub.exe) only mentions "Office 365 Office 2019 Office 2016 Office 2013". I created a new Windows user on another system running MS-Office 2019 and was able to easily connect to exchange server. We then purchased and installed MS-Office 2019 but Outlook still presents the same error when trying to connect to Exchange server. The Method 1, Normal uninstall, is designed with the assumption that you will be re-installing Office. We encountered an issue connecting Outlook 2003 toĪn exchange server that we could not resolve so we un-installed all MS-Office software and also ran SetupProd_OffScrub.exe downloaded from here: Method 2: Completely uninstall Office with the uninstall support tool (SetupProdOffScrub.exe) Method 3: Remove manually (Registry Hack). Outlook 2003, Word, Excel, Access were from other years. A computer system used to have several versions of MS-Office installed (including 2003, 2007, 2010).
